We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our restaurant team for the exciting new opening of The Counter.
We are recruiting for all roles accross Bar and Restaurant for our new opening, full and part time roles are available.
These roles involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment, and supporting daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy setting. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to a positive guest experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide information about menu items, services, and facilities
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with setting up events or special functions when required
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if necessary
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and reservations
- A professional appearance and positive attitude are essential
