About Us
We are a growing water commissioning company based in Corby but operating across the UK that provides swabbing, pressure testing, chlorination, de-chlorination, sampling of new water mains and flushing of live water networks. The tasks we carry out are to ensure the water mains have been installed correctly, but also to ensure the water is safe, clean and compliant for human consumption (drinking water etc)
We have worked on and are working on some of the most notable events in the UK – Leicester City’s training ground, Liverpool’s football ground, York City’s football ground & Tottenham’s football ground to name just a few.
The Role
We are looking for a Flushing Operative to join our team. This role involves working on live water networks, carrying out flushing activities to ensure potable water systems remain safe, clean and free from stagnation.
You will be working across various sites nationwide, so a flexible approach to travel is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out flushing of live water mains.
- Ensure water networks are safe for consumption and meet required standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of company vehicle and equipment.
- Complete daily job reports and communicate progress back to the office.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures on site.
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and public.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away if/when required.
- Strong work ethic and reliablility.
- Good communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
No prior experience is required - full training will be provided.
Salary £28,100
- Working days: Monday – Friday 7.30am - 5pm (overtime work available – weekend work & overnights (overtime, plus hotel & food allowance)
- Company van, fuel card, PPE, all equipment & training/tickets provided
- Annual leave: 21 Days, plus Bank Holidays, Birthday off plus Christmas shut down
