Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our busy Broomhill Inn, Premier Steakhouse site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, leadership, and restaurant management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, overseeing food service, and ensuring high-quality service at all times
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets including advertising and driving the business further
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain stock levels and control costs to optimise profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards and ensure that all paper work is in order
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Be able to manage difficult sitations and resolve them promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a team
- Excellent communication skills, with an empethetic manner
- Knowledge of food processes and kitchen operations
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks effectively, and work under pressure
- Must hold a personal licence
Preferred Skills:
- To have knowledge of how a kitchen is ran and the order of service.
- Management of tables and organising whilst in constant communication with our customers.
