Our client is currently looking for a robot welder to work 2 shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor robotic welding machines to produce components according to technical drawings and work instructions
- Set up robotic welding cells including loading/unloading jigs and fixtures
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
- Perform basic programming and adjustments to robotic systems as needed
- Maintain and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment to minimise downtime
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and use of appropriate PPE
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine maintenance
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in robotic welding in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Knowledge of MIG welding processes; TIG welding experience is a plus
- Familiarity with robotic welding systems (e.g., ABB, FANUC, KUKA) desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours of Operation
- Working 2 shifts rotating on a weekly basis (days and lates)
- Option to change to 3 shifts with consultation
