Located in the heart of the English Lake District, Tweedies Bar and Lodge lies amongst the central Lakeland fells, providing an idyllic setting. This area of outstanding beauty offers something for every visitor across every season. We currently require a full time Housekeeping Supervisor to manage our small team of housekeepers in our 16 bedroom Country House hotel.
We are seeking candidates that understand the importance of clean and well- presented rooms to ensure our customer’s satisfaction. Must be responsible and reliable, energetic and capable of cleaning rooms to a high standard as well as maintaining public areas. You will be expected to be in charge of linen supplies and ordering cleaning products.
Daily working hours are 7.45am-3.45pm and you must be available at weekends. Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor is required. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
- Train and manage housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices and hotel policies.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality and address any issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel operations and management
- Strong background in hospitality services
- Demonstrated janitorial experience and knowledge of cleaning standards
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to lead and train housekeeping staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
