Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to cover for staff holidays, responsible for maintaining good standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our clients premises premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and report any faults or damages.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work efficiently within designated timeframes to complete daily cleaning schedules.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot areas requiring special attention.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety procedures is advantageous. This position is suitable for reliable individuals who take pride in maintaining clean environments that promote health and wellbeing. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning will be considered an asset for applicants seeking to excel in this role.
