The Role
As a Housekeeper at The Botleigh Grange you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards our guests expect. You will ensure that guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas are consistently clean, tidy, and welcoming, helping to create a first class experience for every visitor. Additionally, you will support laundry operations and maintain linen supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, service, and maintain guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including lounges, corridors, reception, and spa areas
- Handle and manage linen and towels, including sorting, washing, folding, and distributing to guest rooms
- Replenish room amenities and report any maintenance or repair issues
- Support laundry operations as needed, ensuring cleanliness and organisation of linen and uniforms
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Work closely with the Head of Department and housekeeping team to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service
- Maintain proper documentation of cleaning schedules, lost & found items, and laundry records
About You
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Reliable, organised, and able to handle physically demanding tasks
Pay: Up to £26,436.80 per year
