About This Role
We’re looking for kind, reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a fun-loving 16-year-old who enjoys expressing herself through make-up and fashion, and unwinding with her favourite shows, including Stranger Things and horror films.
She loves spending time with her carers and friends, whether that’s shopping, visiting the library, or relaxing together in a coffee shop.
As her Healthcare Assistant, you will support her to maintain her independence, pursue her interests, and enjoy the activities she loves, while ensuring she receives the specialist care and support she requires.
During night shifts, you will help ensure she remains safe, comfortable, and settled throughout the night. You will monitor her clinical needs, remain attentive to any changes in her condition, and provide support and reassurance whenever required.
Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting children or young people with complex healthcare needs is desirable.
Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
- Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
