Job Summary:
We are looking for a Legal Secretary to provide administrative support to our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring the smooth running of our legal department and providing exceptional support to our lawyers.
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to lawyers, including preparing and editing documents, reports and presentations
* Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and digital
* Coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for lawyers
* Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails and greet clients and visitors
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
* Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Desired Qualifications:
* GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics
* Administration experience, preferably in a legal environment
* Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures (desirable)
