Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Part Time Brunch Chef to join our team during weekends and bank holiday daytime shifts. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for culinary enthusiasts to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, friendly setting. You will be responsible for preparing delicious brunch dishes, maintaining high food safety standards, and ensuring our guests receive exceptional service.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of brunch menu items with precision and flair
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all meals are prepared to high-quality standards and delivered promptly
- Support the team during busy service times by serving dishes and assisting with order flow
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively with colleagues
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including meal preparation and food safety practices
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting is preferred
- Familiarity with serving food in a hospitality context is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently during busy weekend and holiday shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with a flat top grill is essential.
