Rose Castle is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Meetings & Events Supervisor to help deliver exceptional experiences across our weddings, corporate retreats, private celebrations and residential programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at one of Cumbria's most unique venues. You'll lead by example, supporting the day-to-day delivery of events while ensuring our guests receive warm, professional and memorable service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising food and beverage service across weddings, meetings and events
- Leading casual team members during service and ensuring high standards are maintained
- Assisting with event setup, room preparations and service delivery
- Welcoming guests and ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish
- Supporting bar operations, including serving drinks where required
- Handling guest enquiries professionally and resolving issues confidently
- Working closely with the kitchen, events and operations teams
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and health & safety
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures when required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality, preferably within meetings, events or weddings
- A confident, hands-on leader who enjoys supporting and motivating a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A calm and organised approach in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Personal Licence holders are desirable but not essential
