Select Support Partnerships is looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Maintenance Person to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in maintaining high standards across our supported living and residential properties.
About the Role
As our Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring our properties remain safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for the people we support.
Your duties will include:
- General property repairs and maintenance.
- Basic plumbing, joinery, decorating, and tiling.
- Minor electrical repairs (where competent).
- Routine health and safety checks.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests.
- Working closely with managers to prioritise repairs.
- Maintaining accurate records of completed work.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in general property maintenance or a similar role.
- Be confident carrying out a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Be organised, dependable, and able to manage their own workload.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Be friendly, professional, and respectful when working in occupied properties.
- Hold a full UK driving licence (essential).
