Responsibilities

- Diagnose faults using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals.
- Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to perform repairs and installations.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware issues, including peripherals and internal components.
- Repair and maintain networking equipment to ensure seamless connectivity across systems.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and upgrades.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment or systems.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately within organisational records.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various repair tasks.
- Experience with computer hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and configuration.
- Familiarity with computer repair procedures, including software diagnostics.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on electronic systems and machinery.
