We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our busy Buying team, based in Wilmslow with one day a week at our Middleton site.

Where does this role fit in?
- Support our Buying team with a range of administration tasks.
- PO management – raising purchase orders on Sage 200 (daily) and placing orders with suppliers.
- Setting up product codes on Sage 200.
- Co-ordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers
- Managing & approving shipment bookings
- Booking goods in with the warehouse
- Requesting LCs with Accounts and emailing over to supplier.
- Co-ordinating invoices and packing lists for approval
- Chasing suppliers on deliveries and keeping relevant departments updated.
- Updating shipping schedule.
- Processing shipping documents.
- Monitoring critical path and creating reports.
- National Account Manager and Merchandisers order book weekly update – updating and highlighting any delays with reasons/appropriate comments.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous administration experience.
- Strong IT skills especially in Excel.
- Numerate and high levels of concentration to evaluate large amounts of data.
- Excellent organisation skills - you’ll be organized in your approach which will enable you to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Experience in Sage 200 desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work to strict deadlines to meet customer requirements
Flexible approach to work as a team player with ability to co-ordinate between functions and to undertake any relevant task efficiently, on own initiative.
