We are a dedicated community pharmacy committed to providing excellent healthcare services to our local patients. We are looking for an ambitious and highly organized Supervisor / Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) to join our friendly team.
The Role:
In this dual role, you will lead the dispensary team and oversee the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medication. Working alongside the Pharmacist Manager, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accuracy Checking: Conduct final accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions to ensure absolute correctness in medication, dosage, and labeling.
- Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise the dispensary team, allocating daily tasks and ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Dispensary Operations: Manage day-to-day dispensary flow, resolve queries, and support the introduction of new pharmacy services.
- Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with GPhC regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must hold an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification (or equivalent).
- Registration: Current, valid registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience: Proven post-qualification experience in a community or hospital pharmacy setting, with previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
