Provide efficient customer care for Leicestershire Police!
As a Local Support Team Officer (LSTO) you will be the first point of contact for customers with enquiries and provide clear guidance to members of the public who report incidents and crimes on the service they will be provided.
We currently have positions available based in Oakham and other locations around the county.
City locations for this role will include weekend working, with rural locations being Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00.
You will be required to travel to different locations across Leicestershire on occasion.
What you’ll be doing

Dealing with customer enquiries and offering advice and guidance

Obtaining witness statements and taking necessary actions

Attending court and giving evidence
The must haves
-
To be educated to minimum grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent qualification) in English language, or have experience of working to that level

The ability to use initiative to problem solve
-
Have effective communication skills particularly in stressful/pressurised situations
