Job Summary
We are a small family run logistics company, part of a much larger network. We are currently looking to add a part time warehouse / van driver to our team.
Role will be working afternoons betwen the hours of 13:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday, although some weekends may be required to support busy periods. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company van
- Load and unload goods from the warehouse, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly for transit
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment as needed
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding delivery schedules, issues, or delays to ensure smooth operations
- Lift heavy packages safely during loading and unloading processes, adhering to proper lifting techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reporting of any incidents or discrepancies
Requirements
- Minimum age of 25 for insurance purposes, must of held UK Driving licence for minimum of 2 years
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not required
- Experience operating vans or light trucks; knowledge of commercial driving regulations is advantageous
- Prior warehouse experience including heavy lifting and inventory handling
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation to reach the warehouse location at scheduled times
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
