We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used correctly and stored properly after use
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively within allocated shifts
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment or supplies as necessary
