Job Summary

Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas, to prevent theft and unauthorized access
- Implement loss prevention measures by observing customer behavior and identifying potential theft or vandalism
- Respond swiftly to alarms or security breaches, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring immediate care for minor injuries or medical emergencies
- Enforce security policies and procedures consistently while maintaining a professional presence at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques essential for effective monitoring
- Ability to perform loss prevention activities with keen attention to detail and situational awareness
- Certification or training in first aid is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified
- Excellent observational skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential risks or threats
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members, visitors, and emergency responders
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods in various environmental conditions
