We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety standards to promote a hygienic environment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls to maintain operational efficiency
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to guarantee consistent quality across all areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning tasks completed and supplies used for accountability and quality assurance
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively
