We are looking for a kind, reliable Carer/Personal Assistant to support two adults with muscular dystrophy in a calm and friendly family home. You’ll start on bank shifts, with the opportunity to move into a stable permanent role (days & nights).
Responsibilities include:
- Personal care delivered with dignity
- Supporting safe mobility and use of equipment
- Assisting with meals, hydration, and daily routines
- Maintaining a clean, comfortable home environment
- Companionship and positive engagement
- Supporting appointments and community access
- Following care plans and communicating clearly
Ideal Candidate:
- Kind, patient, dependable
- Comfortable working in a family home
- Calm, respectful, and able to follow guidance
- Experience with physical disabilities helpful but not essential
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS required (can be arranged)
