Salary: £28,000 to £34,000 depending on experience
Hours of Work: Full time Permanent (8.00 – 16.30 Monday to Friday with a Saturday rota and some overtime)

Bickerstaffe Boat Company is part of a thriving, growing group of related companies who specialise in all things boats for the canals of UK and Europe! Boat building and sales, syndicate ownership and boat maintenance and repair. The workshop is busy, and the work varied. You would be joining our friendly team in the workshop supported by efficient colleagues in our office.
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and friendly person to join our small team.
Overview of role:
Painting new and used boats.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Preparing, sanding, filling and painting new and used boats. As we are a small team other jobs will be asked of you occasionally, to help out colleagues. These will include general boat fitting, engineering and plumbing work. (Full training will be given for this). Some ordering. Off-site work. On-call work.
Successful candidates will have:
A good general knowledge of filling and body work, experience in spray painting WITH METALLICS, strong organisational skills with attention to detail, an ability to work as part of a team, self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised, good organisational skills and be able to work to a deadline (which may require overtime), a full driving license.
