We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chimney Sweep to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining chimneys, ensuring safety and efficiency for our clients. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of chimneys to identify blockages, creosote build-up, or damage
- Perform cleaning procedures using specialised tools and equipment to remove soot, debris, and obstructions
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide clear explanations of work carried out and recommended maintenance to clients in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and cleaning activities for each job
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment at each site
- Drive company vehicle to various client locations safely and efficiently
Skills
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is essential
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Good organisational skills to manage appointments and record keeping effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual tasks in confined or elevated spaces
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards are vital for success in this role
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
