Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas
- Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards
- Assist with cooking and food production as necessary to support team operations
- Manage the service flow during peak hours to optimise guest experience
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed consistently across the premises
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain smooth operations
- Provide training and ongoing support to team members to promote professional development
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and tact
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, dining area, and staff zones
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality services that reflect our brand values
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety standards
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Experience with barista duties or bar management is desirable but not essential
- A proactive attitude towards training staff in culinary skills and customer service excellence
