We pride ourselves on delivering excellence and high-quality customer service. We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Workshop Coordinator to join our experienced technical team.
The Role
As the Workshop Controller, you will act as the central link between our customer-facing service team and our workshop technicians. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily workflow, ensuring high productivity, efficient resource allocation, and strict adherence to project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Scheduling: Manage the daily workshop diary, allocating jobs to technicians based on skill levels and efficiency.
Workflow Monitoring: Track the progress of maintenance and repair work to ensure jobs are completed on schedule.
Parts & Inventory Liaison: Coordinate with the parts department to ensure all necessary components are available prior to the commencement of work.
Administration: Accurately process job cards, warranty claims, and invoicing in compliance with manufacturer standards.
Customer Service Support: Provide clear, professional updates to the service reception team regarding vehicle status and any additional work required.
Required Skills and Experience
Industry Experience: Proven experience as a workshop coordinator, service controller, or service advisor within the automotive or motorcycle sector.
Organisational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities with a structured approach to managing high volumes of work.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between technical staff and management.
Technical Literacy: Proficient in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Professionalism: A reliable, detail-oriented professional who operates well within an established team environment.
