Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Pickup Truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Communicate with customers and team members to coordinate deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Help in the shop after deliveries. Putting stock away, picking orders and serving customers
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be 30 or over due to vehicle insurance
- Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with the building trade would be beneficial
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
HOURS ARE 7.30AM-4.30AM MONDAY TO FRIDAY PLUS SOME SATURDAYS 8.30AM-12PM.
