The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Outreach Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Outreach Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships and increase the reach and impact of BeyondAutism's specialist expertise across schools, local authorities, multi-academy trusts, charities and other organisations.
Working closely with the Head of Outreach Services, Marketing and Communications, Finance and Outreach Leads, you will drive income generation, manage sales pipelines and help shape marketable service offers that support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, local authorities, MATs and other stakeholders
- Develop and manage a proactive sales pipeline
- Convert enquiries into paid consultancy, training and outreach services
- Prepare proposals, quotations and service agreements
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
- Monitor pipeline performance, conversion rates and income targets
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery
- Provide market intelligence to support service development and growth
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Essential
- Proven experience in business development, sales, partnerships or account management
- Experience generating leads and managing a sales pipeline
- A track record of converting opportunities into contracts or income-generating work
- Experience using CRM systems and structured sales processes
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence discussing pricing and value
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Desirable
- Experience working with schools, local authorities, multi-academy trusts or education providers
- Knowledge of SEND, autism, education, health, social care or the charity sector
- Experience developing consultancy, training or specialist service offers
- Understanding of commissioning and decision-making processes within education or public services
