Sunny Art Centre is currently seeking a Freelance Fashion Design Tutor to join our Portfolio Preparation Department with immediate availability. This role focuses on one-to-one tuition, supporting students in building strong portfolios for university applications and professional development.
During periods of restriction or as required, teaching may take place live online. Our portfolio courses provide students with specialist guidance, industry insight, and structured project development.
Deliver one-to-one fashion design portfolio tuition
Provide professional guidance for:
Plan and structure individualised lesson programmes
Help students develop:
Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge
Occasionally participate in and support:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
A Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design (or closely related discipline)
Strong knowledge of:
A high-level personal portfolio and professional body of work
Ability to prepare structured lessons for portfolio-building students
Commitment to maintaining current industry knowledge
Excellent communication skills
3–4 years’ professional industry experience (highly desirable)
This flexibility allows tutors to pursue other professional commitments alongside teaching.
