After School Sports Activity Leader
Location: Daventry
Hours: 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday–Friday (4:30pm finish on a Friday)
Pay: £13.00–£14.00 per hour
Contract: Term Time Only
About the Role
S4A is looking for an enthusiastic After School Sports Activity Leader to deliver fun, engaging, and active sports sessions for primary school children across our schools in Daventry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and enjoys encouraging them to be active through a variety of sports and games in a safe and inclusive environment.
The hours are 3:00pm–6:00pm (4.30pn on Friday), Monday to Friday, with opportunities to work additional hours during school holidays, if available.
Role Overview
As an After School Sports Activity Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering fun, engaging, and structured sports activities for primary-aged children.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment where every child can participate.
- Encouraging children to develop confidence, teamwork, and physical skills through sport.
- Setting up and packing away sports equipment safely.
- Maintaining professionalism in your interactions with children, parents, colleagues, and schools.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management procedures at all times.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality after-school provision.
