Teaching Assistant – KS1 & 2 | Falmouth | Starting in September
A welcoming primary school in the heart of Falmouth is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support their KS1 & 2 classes from September on an ongoing basis.
This is a lovely school with a strong community feel. Their most recent Ofsted report highlights the supportive culture across the school and the positive relationships between staff and pupils. Staff often describe the school as having a real “family” atmosphere, where everyone works together to support the children.
The school has a higher level of SEN across the cohort, so they are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience supporting children with additional needs and who feel confident adapting their approach to meet different learning and behavioural needs.
The role will involve:
- Supporting pupils across KS1 & 2 within the classroom
- Providing additional support to children with SEN
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
- Helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment
Essential requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working with children
Desirable:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience supporting children with SEN
This role would suit someone who is patient, adaptable and enjoys building strong relationships with young learners.
