The Role:
As a Shift Electrical Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of plant operations—keeping things running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
From tackling electrical breakdowns to supporting continuous improvement projects, your work will directly impact production performance and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapid response to electrical breakdowns during peak production times
- Reactive and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Ensuring electrical systems meet safety and compliance standards
- Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to boost reliability
- Supporting shutdowns, project work, and scheduled maintenance
- Contributing to sustainability and process improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification (e.g. HNC, NVQ Level 3)
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Basic PLC fault-finding skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Safety-first mindset with a proactive approach
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and provide cover when needed
