Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead and inspire our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily nursery operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality childcare, and foster a nurturing environment where service children can thrive. Your leadership will drive the success of the nursery, promote best practices in early childhood development, and maintain excellent communication with staff, parents, and external partners. Duties
- Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure a cohesive and effective working environment
- Oversee daily nursery operations, including planning activities, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring compliance with childcare regulations
- Develop and implement educational programs aligned with early childhood development principles to promote learning and social skills
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster positive relationships
- Manage administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, record keeping, and maintaining compliance documentation
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and stimulating for children at all times
- Support staff development through training opportunities focused on childcare best practices and management skills
Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership experience in a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in nursery management
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies
- Ability to motivate a team while maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation responsibilities or site visits
- Level 3 Childcare qualifications is essential.
The nursery is open 38 weeks of the year, aligned to Bracknell Forest term dates.

Pay: £20.00 per hour
