Mercia Jet Washers is going to be a newly formed company. Predominantly cleaning vans to lorries at weekends on sites around the Tamworth/Lichfield/ Measham/Ashby/Atherstone/Nuneaton/ etc areas. It will go on to develop to Caravans/cars and maybe even valeting and patios once the business is established. But it will focus on commercial vehicles in its infantcy just on a weekend saturday and sunday and early mornings on these days can be as early as 5am.
Summary
We are seeking a Mobile Jet Washing Operative to join our team in the UK. Based in, this role is vital for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our fleet and facilities, supporting our commitment to quality service. It is a completly new venture with customers already and waiting.
Responsibilities
- Operate mobile jet washing equipment to clean vehicles and facilities efficiently.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain and inspect cleaning equipment regularly.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate cleaning schedules.
- Keep detailed records of cleaning activities.
- Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or urgent requests.
- Support the team in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Valid driving license is essential for van and trailer. With maximum points on licence of 3.
- Proven experience in operating jet washing or similar equipment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and due diligence to clean to a standard that represents what the company stand for.
- Be able to work outside in all weathers.
- To help develop the company to take on more bookings
- To be honest and reliable.
- to be able to work every weekend as fleets are off the road.
- To develop the business to become upto 5 days per week, incorporating Saturday and Sunday and choosing the other days to work on a flexible basis.
