Job Title: Stores Technician
Location: Mallusk & Belfast
We are currently recruiting a full time Stores Technician for one of our multinational. This is a dual role that takes place across 2 sites, Mallusk and Belfast. This role will report to the Site Lead.
Working hours: 8:00-4:30pm Monday-Friday, 39hr week.
Role/Responsibilities
- Goods inwards / outwards
- Stock / Cycle Counting
- Deliver the day-to-day operations of the Stores
- Deliver the agreed metrics to support the benchmarking of site
- Carry out customer/site specific requests in line with contractual agreement
- Ordering of consumables
- Other ad hoc duties
Candidate Profile
- Stores experience necessary
- Stock control Experience required
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent understanding of H&S in a manufacturing environment
- Procurement experience preferable.
- General understanding of Mechanical / Electro mechanical /Spare Parts
- Stock count / cycle counting experience preferable
- Ability to work as part of a team & ability to work on own initiate
- Be coachable and open to taking on new tasks when required
- High level of attention to Detail.
- SAP, Ariba, etc experience an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge of MS software packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) would be an advantage
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
- Fluency in English an essential
- Adaptable and Flexible Approach with a can-do attitude and an ability and willingness to learn
- Confident in dealing with Clients and vendors. Be flexible in approach to site demands and customer needs
- Ability to handle engineering queries from the engineers
- Experience in a similar role within the Food & Beverages, and/or manufacturing industries would be desirable
