Hospitality Supervisor
THAT’S WHERE YOU COME IN…
Working closely with the Hospitality Management team, you’ll play a key role in delivering polished, seamless and genuinely memorable hospitality across Tewkesbury Park.
As Hospitality Supervisor, your main focus will be restaurant service, leading from the front to ensure every service is delivered with confidence, professionalism and attention to detail — from setting the restaurant and briefing the team, through to anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is taken care of.
You’ll also support our bars, meetings & events and functions, bringing the same high standards and attention to detail across every guest touchpoint.
We’re looking for someone who understands that exceptional service is about more than simply getting the basics right. It’s about timing, attention to detail, professionalism, anticipation and creating an experience that feels effortless for the guest.
You’ll be a visible presence on the floor, supporting and developing your colleagues, maintaining service standards and ensuring the operation runs efficiently and seamlessly, particularly during busy periods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take a lead role in the day-to-day running of restaurant service, ensuring every service is well organised, efficient and delivered to a consistently high standard
- Lead from the floor, setting the standard for warm, attentive and professional service
- Brief and prepare the team before each service, ensuring everyone understands the day's priorities, bookings, menus and guest requirements
- Coach, support and develop colleagues to build confidence, product knowledge and exceptional service skills
- Maintain a strong presence throughout service, anticipating issues before they arise and ensuring service flows efficiently
- Ensure tables are presented beautifully and that service standards are consistently maintained from welcome through to farewell
- Develop a strong understanding of our menus, food and beverage offering, and confidently communicate this to guests
- Anticipate guest needs and look for opportunities to add thoughtful, personalised touches to their experience
- Support upselling and encourage the team to maximise opportunities through recommendations and excellent product knowledge
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure food service is coordinated, timely and delivered to the expected standard
- Support the smooth and professional operation of our bars
- Lead and support colleagues during meetings, conferences, weddings and special events
- Coordinate restaurant, bar and event spaces to ensure they are fully prepared and presented to a high standard
- Work closely with reception, kitchen, housekeeping and wider resort teams to create a seamless guest journey
- Deal confidently with guest requests and resolve any issues quickly and professionally
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, health & safety and operational compliance
- Act as a positive role model, creating a supportive, professional and service-focused working environment
