Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Care Supervisor to oversee and coordinate care services within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising care staff, ensuring high standards of client care, and maintaining compliance with organisational policies. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team in delivering compassionate and professional support to clients in their own homes.
Expected hours per week 15 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, personalised care services.
- Conduct regular assessments of client needs and update care plans accordingly.
- Organise staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all assigned visits.
- Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and training where necessary to maintain standards.
- Act as a point of contact between clients, their families, and care staff to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and organisational procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, incidents, and staff records.
- Support recruitment processes by participating in interviews and onboarding new team members.
Skills
- Proven management experience within a care or health-related environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently in dynamic situations.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, safeguarding policies, and best practices in domiciliary care.
