GP Receptionist – Full Time
Longview Medical Centre is looking to recruit an experienced GP Receptionist/Care Navigator to join our friendly and established practice team.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, between 8.00am and 6.30pm (8:30pm every second Mon)
Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and approachable individual who has previous experience working within a GP practice and is confident using EMIS Web.
Previous GP practice experience and EMIS Web experience are essential for this role.
Main duties of the role
As a GP Receptionist/Care Navigator, you will be an important first point of contact for our patients and will help ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the practice.
About you
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working within a GP practice.
- Have experience and a good working knowledge of EMIS Web.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Be confident and competent using computers and clinical systems.
- Be organised and able to work accurately in a busy GP practice environment.
- Be reliable, punctual and flexible to meet the needs of the practice.
- Have a professional, approachable and friendly manner.
- Be self-motivated and able to use their own initiative.
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understand the importance of patient confidentiality and information governance.
