Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage multiple deliveries throughout the day. A valid driver’s licence and experience in commercial driving are essential for this position. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling
- Confirm delivery details with recipients and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver qualification is desirable
- Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations within the area of operation
