Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Security Officer to join our team in the Cyfarthfa Shopping Park
In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our clients' premises and assets while upholding the company's commitment to excellent service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic security team dedicated to safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft and ensure safety.
- Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behavior and managing incidents.
- Operate CCTV equipment effectively to oversee security footage.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring prompt response to emergencies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
- Report security incidents accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required.
- Maintain a professional presence that reassures staff and customers alike.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail security or similar role.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
- First aid certification is preferred.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid SIA Licence
