As a Production Operative your job will be to process customer garments and items to a high standard following laundry procedures.
Required qualifications for Production Operative:
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced production environment
- Experience within a Laundry Production Operative role - Desirable but no essential
- Textile background - Desirable but no essential

Responsibilities for Production Operatives:
- Sorting dirty laundry
- Loading/unloading barrier washers/washing extractors/dryers
- Feeding linen/dry items in folding area.
- Quality checking folded items and hand folded items requiring re-wash or reject and creased, whilst maintaining good productivity including hot linen procedure.
- Packing finished items for delivery to our clients, moving cages to their designated area.
- Ensuring Health and Safety of the plant and each piece of equipment is followed at all times.
- Ensure good housekeeping practices are in operation at all times to reduce risks around the plant of trips, slips and fire.
- Helping with other general duties within the production facility which may include cleaning, the removal of waste and other duties on site.
