Warehouse / Yard Operative
At Precon Products Ltd, we keep construction projects moving by delivering the right products to the right place, on time. We’re now looking for a Warehouse / Yard Operative to join our team and play a key role in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Picking, packing, wrapping, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Checking loads carefully to ensure accuracy before dispatch
- Unloading deliveries and storing stock in designated locations
- Managing stock rotation (FIFO) and supporting stock checks and audits
- Operating forklift and telehandler equipment safely and competently
- Carrying out basic equipment checks and reporting defects promptly
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse and yard environment
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Previous warehouse or yard experience
- Valid Forklift Counterbalance/Reach licence
- Valid Telehandler licence (desirable)
- Confident operating materials-handling equipment safely
- A practical, hands-on approach to work
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Clear communication skills
