Job Description:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with UK road safety regulations.
- Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensuring secure and efficient loading and unloading of goods.
- Adhering to delivery schedules and route plans.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.
- Communicating effectively with the dispatch team regarding any issues or delays.
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
- Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
- A minimum of 2 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work various hours and work nights out.
