About The Jump Zone
The Jump Zone is a large family entertainment venue in Beckton offering trampolines, inflatables, birthday parties, group visits and special events.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cook/Chef to join our café and kitchen team. You will help prepare food for customers, birthday parties and large group bookings while maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas, hot food, sides and other menu items
- Prepare children’s lunch boxes, sharing platters and party food
- Ensure all food is prepared correctly, safely and on time
- Manage multiple food orders during busy sessions and parties
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Follow all food hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures
- Complete opening, closing and daily kitchen checks
- Monitor stock levels and inform management when products need ordering
- Store, label and rotate food correctly
- Keep the kitchen, equipment and food preparation areas clean
- Wash dishes and assist with general kitchen duties when required
- Work closely with the café, party and management teams
- Support large bookings, private events and school group visits
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working as a cook, chef or kitchen assistant
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and willing to take responsibility
- Comfortable working around children and families
- Available to work weekends, school holidays and other busy periods
- Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene qualification preferred
- Knowledge of food allergens and dietary requirements preferred

Pay: Up to £12.72 per hour
