Outreach Support Worker
Location: Office Littlehampton, with Support Packages in Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Chichester, and other areas across West Sussex
Hours of Work: 1 x 20 hours per week or this position can be split between 2 people.
Relief positions are also available,
Monday: 9:00am – 3:00pm and 3:00pm – 5:30pm
Tuesday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
Wednesday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
Thursday: 2:30pm – 5:45pm
Every other Sunday: 10:00am – 4:30pm
Sleep In's are also available during periods of annual leave/absence
These are 5:30-10pm and then 7-9:30 am
Salary: £12.71 per hour
All mileage between support and during support is paid at 45p per mile, All travel time in working day is paid
A full driving licence is not essential for these support shifts.

About the Role:
At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our Outreach team, providing support to two gentlemen with Autism & Learning Disability who live in their own home.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference by supporting them to live safe, healthy, independent and fulfilling lives. Our aim is to provide excellent, person-centred support that enables them to enjoy meaningful experiences and remain connected with the people and places that are important to them.
Support includes:
Supporting with personal care.
Preparing meals and encouraging healthy eating.
Supporting with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
Attending appointments.
Supporting access to the local community, including walks, places of interest and visits with family.
Promoting independence while ensuring their safety, health and wellbeing at all times.
Some shifts are worked alongside another Support Worker, while others involve lone working. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
