Thank you for your interest in applying for the position of Teaching Assistant at Abersychan School. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school as it widens its provision to support students with additional learning needs, particularly those with social, emotional and behavioural and needs. Abersychan School recently introduced the ‘Phoenix Project’, to improve educational experiences for a small group of KS3 students. The successful candidate will occasionally work with these students in this exciting provision and will require strong literacy and numeracy skills, to support the delivery of meaningful interventions. This will be in addition to assisting teaching during mainstream lessons.
Abersychan School is an 11-16 comprehensive school which meets the needs of children of all abilities. We want every student to fulfil their potential.
