Duties
- Plan and deliver hands-on STEM activities that are age-appropriate and aligned with curriculum goals
- Lead interactive experiments, projects, and demonstrations to stimulate student interest and understanding
- Support students during activities, providing guidance and encouragement to ensure active participation
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to coordinate program schedules and integrate STEM themes into broader learning initiatives
- Foster an inclusive environment that welcomes diverse learners, including those with special education needs
- Maintain a safe and organized space for all activities, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and upcoming events
Qualifications
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching STEM subjects or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Experience working with children who have special education needs is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate students
- Passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education
- Ability to organize activities efficiently and manage group dynamics positively
- Flexibility to adapt lesson plans based on student interests and skill levels
