Salary: £29,000 to £34,000 DOE + staff benefits + opportunities for progression within a growing estate hospitality operation.
No split shifts. Predominantly daytime operation with occasional evening events.
Montalto Estate is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Chef de Partie to join our Café kitchen team. This role is ideal for a chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food and is looking to develop their career within a busy and dynamic hospitality environment.
You will be responsible for managing your section, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards, and supporting the wider kitchen team in delivering an excellent experience for our visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to company standards.
- Take responsibility for a designated kitchen section.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and waste control.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Support seasonal menu changes and special events.
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready for progression.
- Passion for quality food and excellent customer experiences.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods.
