The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Used Vehicle Preparation Manager to oversee the preparation of our used vehicle stock.
Our new site incorporates 10 service ramps and four MOT testing lanes, providing repairs, servicing and MOT testing for our vehicle stock. The successful candidate will manage each vehicle from arrival through inspection, servicing, mechanical repair and MOT testing to final quality control. They will ensure that all stock is prepared efficiently, cost-effectively and to the required retail standard.
This is a hands-on management position requiring strong organisational skills, effective team leadership and a thorough understanding of workshop operations and used vehicle preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete vehicle preparation process, from arrival through to retail readiness.
- Oversee the repair, servicing and MOT testing of used vehicle stock.
- Coordinate mechanical inspections, servicing, MOT preparation and repairs.
- Manage workshop workflow and prioritise work according to sales requirements and stock age.
