SCAPE is continuing to grow at pace. With our operational teams expanding to 12 reinstatement crews, we are looking for two experienced Reinstatement Supervisors to help lead our field operations and maintain the high standards our clients expect.

The Role
As a Reinstatement Supervisor, you will oversee multiple reinstatement teams, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in full compliance with industry standards. You will play a key role in driving quality, reducing defects, supporting operatives, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and highway authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support multiple reinstatement teams across your region.
- Plan and coordinate daily operations to maximise productivity and quality.
- Coach and develop operatives to achieve a right first time approach.
- Ensure all excavation backfilling and reinstatement works comply with SROH and NRSWA requirements.
- Carry out regular quality inspections and manage defects to minimise callbacks and Section 74 charges.
- Complete onsite audits to ensure reinstatement teams remain compliant with company and industry standards.
- Liaise with local highway authorities, utility clients and internal stakeholders.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture and investigate incidents where required.
- Monitor permit durations and ensure reinstatements are completed within agreed timescales.
- Use Appcan to capture measurements, inspections and operational information.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- NRSWA Supervisor Accreditation Units 1 to 7.
- Strong knowledge of SROH and NRSWA legislation.
- Experience supervising reinstatement or utility teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of civil engineering, asphalt and tarmac reinstatement techniques, and utility networks.
- EUSR Card.
- Gas Passport.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good IT skills with the ability to use mobile field applications.
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
