About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Furniture Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will assemble flat-pack furniture, primarily for educational environments.
This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Assemble flat-pack MDF furniture to company specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions
- Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
- Report damaged or faulty components
- Handle materials and finished products carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in furniture assembly or manufacturing (preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
- Strong practical skills and good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Physically fit and capable of moving components safely.
